Technical Writer


Ruptela is looking for a Technical Writer to join our talented product development team.

We are creating transport monitoring and management solutions to help our clients save resources and the environment with a key focus on exceptional quality. Currently, our clients are using hundreds of thousands of devices in 127 countries. Therefore, we always try to ensure that our products are up-to-date and new releases are constantly coming to the market. Our team is united by the vision that is powering us to create the most efficient use of transport for a sustainable world.

Technical writers in our organization make a necessary contribution to the product development process. They create thorough technical documentation for our products and ensure that guidelines/datasheets are up to date and understandable for our clients. To gather all the information, technical writers have to keep ongoing conversations with our experts from various RnD teams and understand how our products work.


  • Develop technical documentation (user manuals, installation guides, datasheets, and more) for our hardware and software products
  • Improve existing technical documentation and ensure that it is correct, relevant, and easy to understand
  • Collaborate with members from various departments, gather and analyze information


  • Higher education (technical background preferred)
  • Excellent English language skills (C1 level or higher)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basics of HTML, CSS
  • Very attentive to details
  • Ability to express complex information in a clear and concise way
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team as well as find solutions independently


  • Russian, French, or Spanish language skills (B2 level or higher)
  • Experience in a similar position and/or translation
  • Experience with vector and raster graphics
  • Experience with CAD tools
  • Experience with Javascript and/or PHP

The salary range for this position is 1150 – 1870 EUR (gross) per month. As Ruptela is an equal opportunity workplace, the precise salary offered to the right candidate will be based on one’s qualifications, competencies, and professional experiences.
