Product Manager


Ruptela is looking for a Product Manager to join our Hardware business team.

We provide fleet management solutions based on GPS tracking and real-time vehicle monitoring and control. We develop and manufacture a full solution and provide it along with in-depth knowledge and support. Currently, our clients are using more than a million devices in 127 countries, therefore, we always try to ensure that our products are up-to-date and new releases are constantly coming to the market. Our team is united by the vision that is powering us to create the most efficient use of transport for a sustainable world.

HW business development team is a main connecting part between R&D, sales, marketing, and customers. As a product manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on product decisions including new product development, short term, and long-term roadmaps. You will help to evaluate business cases and decide on priorities. In this position, it is important to maintain communication with customers, understand market needs globally, and foresee the ways to be ahead of the competition.


  • Identifying and evaluating customer needs while taking into account regional specifics
  • Analyzing competitors and market trends
  • Evaluating new business opportunities and business cases
  • Analyzing and creating new functional requirements of new products
  • Analyzing and presenting sales, revenues, the profitability of the products
  • Creating product Roadmap, prioritizing different developments, releases, and projects
  • Regular coaching of Sales Team – from consultations, presentations to training


  • Ability to identify key product values while not getting lost in details
  • Experience in physical or service-based product management or product ownership
  • Excellence in challenging your own decisions and requirements coming from the user
  • Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Ability to clearly communicate your short and long term plans, very good presentation skills
  • Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken)


  • Experience in face to face sales would help to defend your business case and tactical actions
  • Knowledge of the telematics industry or fleet management would be a major advantage
  • Project management experience

The salary range for this position is 2480 – 3300 EUR (gross) per month. As Ruptela is an equal opportunity workplace, the precise salary offered to the right candidate will be based on one’s qualifications, competencies, and professional experiences.
