FW/HW QA Engineer

Ruptela is looking for a FW/HW Quality Assurance Engineer to join our talented team.

We are creating transport monitoring and management solutions to help our clients save resources and the environment with a key focus on exceptional quality. Currently, our clients are using hundreds of thousands of devices in 127 countries, therefore, we always try to ensure that our products are up-to-date and new releases are constantly coming to the market. Our Quality Assurance team has a challenging task – to prevent all the problems that our clients might face while using our products. As a QA engineer, you will be testing everything from the Firmware to our Hardware. You will be looking for bugs, testing our solution in both real life and simulated scenarios, participating in new projects development and constantly improving yourself.

• Testing hardware and firmware according to specification (including non-functional requirements)
• Developing test plans, scenarios, and test cases
• Identifying potential problems which users may encounter
• Bug life cycle management – bug reporting, tracking, analysis, and verification
• Executing and analyzing automation test results, executing regression testing
• Participating in new projects/features development

• Good knowledge of Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication or a related technical field
• Good analytical skills
• Flexibility and reaction to quick-changing priorities
• Willingness to learn new things
• Ability to work independently and cooperate with a team
• Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English;
• Driving license (B category)

• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr scale
• Knowledge of firmware/hardware test methods and techniques
• Experience in using test automation frameworks and tools
• Basic knowledge about 2G, 3G, LTE network technologies
• Basic knowledge about Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)
• Basic knowledge about C#, C++, Python, PHP, or other programming languages
• Basic knowledge about RS232, RS485, CAN, OBD, K-Line, 1-Wire, or different communication protocols
• Basic knowledge about Tachograph and FMS solutions
