Field Application Engineer


Ruptela is looking for Field Application Engineer to join our talented Customer success team.

A career as a Field Application Engineer requires you to be adept in your technical knowledge as well as your business skills. The role of a FAE is taking part in assisting in big-scale pre-sales, testing, and post-sales activities. The FAE is required to develop skills on current product features, tools, and design flow and facilitate the adoption of these solutions with a variety of customer systems. While the pure sales-man helps open the doors for business, a FAE is expected to remove technical barriers to a sale and help close business. To thrive in this role, one needs to enjoy practicing both – the aspects of business and technical expertise.

  • Assist customer to understand products and perform a demo for various field applications (Software and Hardware);
  • Install and configure the system and perform troubleshoot on the process and resolve issues;
  • Provide technical support to customer and configure services;
  • Analyze a customer requirement and ensure product meet customer requirements appropriately;
  • Cooperate with the Research and Development team, identify issues and resolve them;
  • Perform troubleshoot on issues and perform tests on bugs;
  • Analyze applications and provide expert advice;
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends.


  • Higher education in telecommunication, automotive engineering, electronics, physics, or similar field would be an advantage;
  • Basic knowledge in electronics and vehicle electronic systems;
  • General knowledge in vehicle architecture, technologies used and current/future tendencies;
  •  Ability to offer technical solutions for business needs (actively supporting and teaching sales managers);
  •  Ability to analyze the situation and find out of the box solutions;
  • Good English language skills;
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work in a team as well as find solutions independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes

The salary range for this position is 1760– 2350 EUR EUR (gross) per month. As Ruptela is an equal opportunity workplace, the precise salary offered to the right candidate will be based on one’s qualifications, competencies, and professional experiences.
