DevOps Engineer

Ruptela is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our talented team.

We provide fleet management solutions based on GPS tracking and real-time vehicle monitoring and control. We develop and manufacture a full solution and provide it along with in-depth knowledge and support.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with Software Engineering and IT teams to build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring; troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments. This position also provides in-depth technical research for change, maintenance, and enhancement to existing solutions as well as the implementation of new solutions.



  • Ensure that servers, virtual machines, and working tools are up and running
  • Define metrics and configure monitoring/alerting
  • Optimize and automate time-consuming tasks
  • Take decisions and have a strong ownership
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our infrastructure and build solutions to implement them


  • Strong Linux knowledge
  • Good network knowledge (should be able to configure public cloud network, DNS servers, Linux network)
  • Experience with Linux scripting (automation), ability to write and read Shell and Python.
  • Experience with Chef (or any other puppet, ansible… ), ability to write/maintain/improve recipes.
  • Experience with Jenkins, the ability to config/maintain/automate tasks, and to write pipelines.
  • Have extensive experience in building, maintaining infrastructure systems, preferably in a cloud-based environment. Including, but not limited to various databases provisioning, optimization, and network configuration
  • Have experience with metrics, monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
  • Have experience in setting up CI/CD workflow
  • Continuous learning mindset to be on top of the latest technologies and share the knowledge with the team
  • Excellent communication, team-working skills
